Congratulations to the Cougars on a great second half performance against the Wildcats of Wilcox. We started a little slow and were down 8-6 at the half, but we slowly wore the Wildcats down, and in the second half the Cougars kept the ball on the ground and pounded out 24 unanswered points to win 30-8. Senior running back Cameron "Cowboy" McGhee was our leading rusher grinding out 116 yards, followed by Jon Dean, and Jaylen Henry.  With our record now 4-2, and 2-1 in the region, we are only 2 victories away from the first round of the playoffs. Great job Coach Gibson and the coaching staff bringing the Cougars back to a contender once again. Join us on Friday night as we take on the Marengo Longhorns. We have some payback to issue after the last couple of meetings with the boys from Linden. Good luck, and GO  COUGARS.
